Data protection & your files (GDPR)
Documents you send by email, WhatsApp or USB are used only to complete your requested print job, and are handled in line with applicable UK data protection law and our Privacy Policy. Your files are accessed only by authorised staff, are not shared with third parties for marketing, and are normally deleted after completion or collection within our internal retention process — unless you ask us to keep a file temporarily to finish your order. Please do not send documents you do not want us to access for printing. USB devices and email attachments may be virus-scanned before use.
Confidential documents
We regularly print sensitive documents such as bank statements, legal papers, medical forms, employment contracts, CVs and personal correspondence. These are handled carefully and used only to complete your order.
Your responsibilities & proofreading
Please check your file is correct before sending — the right document, page order, number of copies, spelling and formatting. We do not proofread customer documents; we print exactly what you provide.
Print quality, colour & file requirements
Print quality depends on your original file — its resolution, image quality and fonts. Low-quality originals produce low-quality prints. Colours on screen may differ slightly from printed output; no printer reproduces colour exactly.
Supported files: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PNG, JPG and TXT. Not supported: password-protected, corrupted or executable files. Very large files, compressed files, CAD drawings or high-resolution graphics may need extra processing time.
Copyright & material we can’t print
You must have permission to reproduce copyrighted material such as books, magazines, music, commercial artwork and photographs. We reserve the right to refuse any illegal, offensive, fraudulent, counterfeit, hateful, threatening or pornographic material.
Identity documents
Printing or copying passports, driving licences or other identity documents does not mean certification, verification or validation — those are separate services. See Document Certification and Identity Services.
Payment, collection & refunds
Payment is taken on collection — cash or card at the counter. Please check your prints before leaving; once collected we cannot reprint unless there was a printing fault on our side. Refunds apply only for a printing fault, an incorrect quantity produced, or a machine error — not for the wrong file being sent, a formatting issue, or a change of mind.
Turnaround & how orders are processed
Sending a file does not guarantee immediate printing — jobs are processed during opening hours. Small jobs are usually ready while you wait; for larger jobs we’ll advise a collection time.
Accessibility & environment
Our team is happy to assist customers who need extra support — just ask. To help the environment, please print only what you need; double-sided printing reduces paper use and we recycle waste paper where practical.
Business orders & service availability
Businesses, schools and charities can request a quotation for larger or regular jobs. Some services (A3, photo printing, laminating and binding) are planned but not yet available. Online-ordering features shown as “coming soon” are under development and may change before release.
