Accessibility Statement
Gale Street Post Office is committed to making our branch and our website usable and welcoming for everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement explains what we do, where we know we can improve, and how to get help or tell us about a problem.
Our Commitment
We want every customer to be able to access our services with dignity and independence. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA for this website, and to make reasonable adjustments in branch in line with our duties under the Equality Act 2010. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we review and improve our site and our service regularly.

We currently use WCAG 2.1 AA as our stated target and will review WCAG 2.2 AA as part of future improvements.
Devices, Browsers & Assistive Technology
This website is designed to work on desktop, tablet and mobile, and is intended to support common browsers and assistive technologies, including recent versions of the tools below:
| Browsers | Assistive technology | Devices |
|---|---|---|
| Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari | NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack | Windows, macOS, iPhone/iPad, Android |
Known Limitations
We are honest about where we know improvement is needed. We are working on these:
- Third-party content: embedded maps, review widgets and some external tools may not be fully accessible, as they are controlled by other providers.
- Documents: a small number of older PDFs or images may not yet have full text alternatives.
- In-branch step-free access may be limited — please call ahead and we will assist.
If something on this site or in branch is difficult to use, please tell us — see below. We will help you get what you need and use your feedback to improve.
